Construction Field Technician Office Location:

$20-$22 per hour

Experience:

Preferred, but not required Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Construction Field Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position involving field testing and observation on active construction sites. The technician will perform concrete and soil materials testing and monitor construction activities including pile installation and vibro installation . Previous construction or materials testing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate . Responsibilities Perform field testing of concrete and soil materials. Monitor and document pile installation activities. Monitor vibro installation and related field operations. Accurately record field measurements, test results, and construction activities. Prepare clear and organized daily field reports. Communicate observations and potential issues to project managers and other team members. Maintain testing equipment and follow established testing procedures. Follow company and jobsite safety requirements. Travel from the Boynton Beach office to various project sites as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Organized and able to maintain complete field records. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather and on active construction sites. Ability to follow instructions and established testing procedures. Good written and verbal communication skills. Construction, geotechnical, concrete testing, or materials testing experience is a plus, but not required . Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training. Compensation $20-$22 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
