Full-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt About the Company Tampa Microwave is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Manpack and Fly Away satellite terminals designed for expeditionary users who require reliable communications in challenging environments. Tampa Microwave primarily serves Federal and Department of Defense markets. Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator - Manufacturing to support the Quality Department and help ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. This position combines quality administration with hands-on manufacturing quality activities, including inspections, documentation, non-conformance tracking, supplier quality support, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality documentation. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager or Supervisor and has no supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Perform quality reviews, including final visual inspections, test data reviews, and process inspection records. Support Supplier Quality initiatives and assist with the use of quality equipment, including measurement systems, microscopes, and X-ray equipment. Assist with the identification and disposition of non-conforming products. Create and maintain Non-Conforming Product Reports (NCPRs). Support the maintenance and use of TipQA non-conformance software. Assist with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with implementing improvements to the Quality Management System (QMS). Create, maintain, and revise quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, inspection forms, and related records. Support the preparation and review of First Article Inspection (FAI) reports received from suppliers or prepared for customers. Assist with employee quality training, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and procedural training as needed. Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation. Follow established safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures. Maintain professional business ethics and behavior in accordance with company standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment . Experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards . Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office , including Word and Excel. Ability to learn and effectively use quality management and documentation software. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Ability to identify quality issues and follow established procedures for resolution. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance if selected for work requiring clearance. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Must be able to comply with company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and core values.
