Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Quality Control Technician who will test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product. The QC Tech will always represent the company in a friendly and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Use accepted methods to inspect, sample, and test product for the purpose of quality control. Obtain and maintain all pertinent certifications (e.g. AGG Tech, PCC, etc.). Monitor and test process functions and materials, daily, to ensure our products meet or exceed the requirements of the respective project. Follow quality control plans and guidelines, as assigned. Maintain laboratory equipment and perform general cleaning of work area. Complete, maintain, and process pertinent paperwork and records accurately and in a timely manner. Adhere to and strictly enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations set forth by CTI policies, OSHA/MSHA, and Federal and State laws. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-3+ years of experience in on-grade QC required. Previous experience on concrete paving projects preferred. DOT and ACI certifications required to test materials, as required by state regulations and most commercial contracts. Able to maintain a valid driver's license and insurable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Proficient mathematical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously. Work well under time constraints and respond positively to change. Able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and elements. Comfortable working around dust, oils, solvents, gas fumes, and concrete raw materials. Pass a post-conditional offer of employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
