SEASONAL SCALE OPERATOR

As a seasonal scale operator, you will be responsible for accurately operating the grain scale for the accounting office and provide outstanding customer service to our producers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide outstanding customer service skills at all times when greeting and servicing customers. Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments for customers coming across the truck scale. Perform required record keeping for trucking weighing and accurate grading activities. Coordination of delivery numbers, daily inputs, and verification of accuracy. Operates on-scale interface system and transfer of data. Manage inbound grain shipments including the coordination of delivery numbers, input of scale tickets daily and verification of accuracy. In on-scale interface system, manage transfer of data. Respond to customer requests at counter and over phone including but not limited to the following areas:, bids, grain contracting, grain offers, customer history, grain settlements, statements, sales, questions, etc. Help unload trucks. Responds to customer inquiries at the counter. Backups other functions as requested. Must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, 10-key adding machine, fax machine, copier and telephone. Ability to work Overtime as required.

Other Qualifications:

Must be a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) •Our values ~
