Job Description

Please visit us at www.adamsmagnetic. for more information. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that products meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the integrity of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities Quality Inspections:
Perform visual and precise mechanical measurements on a variety of parts using blueprints, drawings, Keyence 2D & 3D Measuring Systems, micrometers, calipers, and pull-force gauges.
Magnetic Testing:
Execute specialized magnetic property testing using flux meters, gauss meters, and computerized BH curve tracers (permeameters).
Validation & Compliance:
Validate supplier reports and internal inspection results against strict customer specifications and industry standards.
Calibration & Records:
Maintain the facility calibration system and establish/maintain accurate quality documentation.
Process Improvement:
Support continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with production teams to optimize quality systems and reduce defects.
Internal Audits:
Perform regular quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001
to identify areas for improvement.
Root Cause/Corrective Action Support:
Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and inspection results to support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001quality standard. Proficiency in using measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, Keyence 2D & 3D measuring systems, and other precision measuring tools. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), data collection methods, and conducting quality audits. Strong analysis skills with attention to detail; capable of performing dimensional measurements and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and data interpretation. Excellent communication skills for documenting inspection results clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to operate and understand computer-driven equipment.
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; an Associate degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Regulatory & Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), as this position is located in an ITAR-registered facility. Benefits Adams Magnetic Products has an excellent benefits package that includes the following;

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
