Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards by conducting precise inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the integrity of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Conduct quality audits in accordance with
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, GMP, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to assess product conformity and identify deviations. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for detailed analysis of mechanical components. Operate measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to perform precise inspections on parts and assemblies. Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and inspection results for continuous improvement efforts. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines to maintain measurement accuracy. Participate in quality management system activities including internal audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Assist in training production staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and proper use of measurement tools. Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to
HACCP, CGMP, ISO
standards, and other regulatory requirements for quality assurance. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong knowledge of
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, FDA
regulations, and industry-specific quality standards. Hands-on experience with calibration procedures for precision measurement instruments such as height gauges and vision inspection systems. Familiarity with dimensional measurement techniques including GD&T and the use of coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation accurately. Demonstrated skills in conducting quality audits, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to product specifications. Ability to work effectively within regulated environments while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Pay:
$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
