Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Tech is responsible for helping maintain quality system and procedures. In addition, to assisting in quality training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to follow and perform calibration process and procedures
  • Ability to understand the protocols for Process Control Plans
  • Assist with APQP developments as they appear
  • Must be able to perform final inspection and assist in receiving
  • Comply to the schedule and perform internal audits
  • Log and reconcile scrap materials
  • Ability to complete ISIR's and PPAP's
  • Must be able to comply to quality assurance requirements
  • Understand the MRB process and follow procedures
ISO 9001-2015
  • Understanding how to create and close Purchase orders
  • Understanding the process for corrective actions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Two plus years of quality in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Organizational skills for efficient office control are mandatory
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of a comparator is a plus
  • Energetic, multitasker with limited supervision
  • Safety minded at all times
  • Knowledge in resource planning systems (MRP/ERP)
  • Positive written and verbal communication skills required
  • Demonstrated positive experience in a High Employee Engagement environment in a service and support role.
  • Print Reading
  • Ability to read Caliper, Micrometer, and Indicator (Non-Digital)
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
