Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We are hiring a Quality Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Florence, KY. This position is responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the production process to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards. The Quality Technician will perform inspections, measurements, testing, data collection, and quality documentation while working closely with production and engineering teams. Responsibilities Inspect and test products at various stages of production. Perform visual inspections and measure components using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges . Conduct destructive and nondestructive testing on materials and products. Operate testing equipment including spring testers, hardness testers, and fatigue testing equipment. Accurately record and analyze test results and prepare quality reports. Perform in-process audits and document quality results. Assist with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and containment activities. Identify and document quality issues and deviations from established standards. Verify gauges and calibration meet required standards. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Work with operators regarding print interpretation and proper use of gauging equipment. Assist with training operators on quality procedures and work instructions. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 2-year college certificate or 2-4 years of related manufacturing/quality experience , or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with industrial manufacturing quality principles. Previous visual inspection experience. Knowledge of standard measurement tools and the metric system. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or engineering drawings. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. ISO/TS, Lockout/Tagout, and plant safety experience is a plus. Automotive manufacturing or engineering experience is preferred. ASQ CQT certification is a plus; training may be provided if needed. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
