Job Description

Quality Technician

  • Junior Level Pay:
    $18.00
  • 20.00 per hour Mon-Fri
  • 7-3:30pm We are hiring a Quality Technician for an established manufacturing company.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing quality and inspection. Previous quality experience is helpful, but not required. The company is willing to train a motivated candidate who has some manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in learning quality inspection. What You'll Do Inspect incoming materials, parts, and finished products for quality Learn to use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges Read and work from blueprints, drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria Document inspection results and identify products that do not meet specifications Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Maintain accurate quality and inspection records Assist with testing and calibration of inspection equipment Support quality improvement initiatives and ISO procedures Follow all safety and workplace procedures What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience preferred Quality inspection experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with measurements Strong attention to detail Ability to follow written instructions, specifications, and procedures Basic computer skills Good communication and problem-solving skills Dependable and willing to learn A Plus, But Not Required Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings Previous quality control or inspection experience Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other manufacturing quality systems Experience with ERP or quality documentation systems
Pay:
$17.00
