Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and product quality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in quality control within a food processing environment and a strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and SOP protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ATP swab checks on equipment, utensils, and surfaces to verify sanitation prior to use. Perform start-up inspections of all ingredients designated for production to ensure quality and compliance. Execute initial GMP inspections to confirm adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) throughout the production process. Inspect all production areas and personnel, documenting findings on QC inspection sheets. Verify calibration of metal detectors, scales, and thermometers to ensure accuracy. Assess production output for weight, appearance, specification conformity, and conduct sensory evaluations. Evaluate finished product packaging for correct labeling, net weight, code dates, package integrity, and accurate ingredient, allergen, and nutritional information.
Qualifications:
Prior experience within a food processing environment is required and in Quality Control is preferred. Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and SOP standards. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills.
