Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc., The Premier Manufacturer of Class A, High-Visibility Automotive Components, is seeking highly motivated, team players, possessing a continuous improvement mindset, to join our team as Entry Level Assembly Team Members. Production Team Members are responsible for the day to day, manufacturing, inspection, and packing of plastic, and chrome plated components. Employees at this level may operate Simple Machines, load and unload components, pack or unpack parts and components, inspect and hand trim components, as well as keep an hourly check list of scrap and defects. All Shifts Available Assembly Dept (8-hour shifts, 5 days/week): 1st

6:00 AM•2:00 PM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed) 2nd

Shift:

2:00 PM•10:00 PM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed) 3rd

Shift:

10:00 PM•6:00 AM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed)

Pay:

$14.00 to 14.25 per hour Job Description This Position may require any or all the duties listed below. Inspection of chrome plated and plastic automotive components for defects Clipping or trimming of excess plastic or chrome plated plastic Assembly of chrome pieces and lenses Operation of simple machinery Packing of parts into boxes and containers Assembly of small clips and adhesive backings Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
