Schedule:

Tuesday - Friday 5:15 pm-5:15 am Typical Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on automotive components.
• Read and interpret: o Blueprints o Engineering drawings o CAD models o GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Use precision measuring equipment such as: o CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) o Faro Arms o Height gauges o Calipers o Micrometers o Optical comparators o Laser scanners
• Create inspection and layout reports.
• Validate first article inspections (FAI) and PPAP documentation.
• Support production launches and tooling tryouts.
• Investigate dimensional issues and non-conformances.
• Work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to resolve issues.
