Job Description Job Description Job Title:
Quality Technician Job Summary:

Join our Quality team supporting Production, Engineering, and Quality. You'll inspect parts, solve quality problems, train inspectors, and help keep our manufacturing process running smoothly and to spec.

What You'll Do:

Inspect and test materials and parts at every stage of production Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections Prepare and evaluate inspection/dimensional reports and help fix any issues found Check and adjust assembly fixtures to make sure they're working correctly Keep quality records and documentation up to date Create inspection instructions and methods Train employees on how to use check/assembly fixtures Audit processes and employees to make sure quality standards are being met Help with sample submissions for customer approvals (PPAP) Support problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts

What You Need:

High school diploma or GED Experience with measurement, inspection, and test equipment (sheet metal parts/assemblies a plus) Basic computer skills Good communication skills, written and verbal Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) is a plus Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Some mechanical knowledge/skills helpful

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable with standing, bending, climbing, and walking during shift You should be proficient in: Quality Inspection Experience Continuous Improvement Statistical process control (SPC) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Quality Control Experience Precision Measurement & Hand Metrology Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement Workplace Safety & EHS Management Precision Measurement & Inspection Quality Control Data Analysis PPAP Process Experience Machines & technologies you'll use: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
