Use precision measuring devices to inspect finished products to customer and SMC quality specifications. Use hand held tools/tooling to correct deviations in product to meet required specifications. Use of paper and computerized forms to complete First Article Inspection per AS9102 requirements. Be committed to continually improve the quality and delivery of our product and services to better satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Maintain ability to use Digital, Dial or Vernier Caliper; Bevel Protractor; Height Gauge; Radius Gauge; Micrometer; Depth Micrometer; Thread Gauge; Pin Gauge; Bore Gauge; Chamfer Gauge; Rockwell Hardness Tester; Electrical Conductivity Meter; Other Assembly Inspection Equipment and Devices/Grinder/Burr Knife/File/Buffing/Wheel; Computer (SMC MRP) and common office equipment Ability to read small print and maintain strong attention to detail Good hand/eye coordination for use of precision measuring devices Good spoken and written communication skills Must be able to thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace Maintain ability to think independently

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency Above average spoken and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous manufacturing aerospace inspection experience Exceptional spoken and written communication skills Familiarization with family owned businesses
WORKING CONDITIONS
Long-term sitting and/or standing, and walking with generally pleasant working conditions Intensive writing and typing is required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to bend and kneel Wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when required/needed Frequent exposure to stressful situations as a result of human behavior and industry demands The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this job
