SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in supporting the site quality program by conducting inspections and surveillance to verify compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and specifications. This position is essential to ensuring project deliverables meet client quality expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review and understand project technical requirements, including the prime contract, applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and surveillance of construction activities to verify compliance with project quality standards. Document inspection results and report any non-conformance or quality issues. Support quality audits and assist in gathering necessary documentation for audit activities. Provide input and recommendations on quality-related issues or improvements within assigned areas. Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections and quality-related activities. Follow all site safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Accredited two (2) or three (3) year Technical or Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in construction or industrial project environments. Industry certifications preferred, such as: ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing, AWS (American Welding Society), API (American Petroleum Institute) or NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Intren is an equal opportunity employer.
