Job Description

Quality Inspectors Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Water Valley MS area is seeking Quality Inspector to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Quality Inspectors Job Summary:
Pay:
$14.50 per hour
Shifts Available:
we have the following shifts available 1st 0700-1500 2nd 1500-2300 3rd 2300-0700 Perform in-process, first-piece, and final product inspections. Inspect raw materials, components, and finished goods for conformity to specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality procedures. Utilize measuring and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection tools. Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products. Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues. Conduct visual inspections for defects, damage, workmanship concerns, and compliance with customer requirements. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Verify that production processes comply with company quality standards and procedures. Assist in maintaining ISO, customer-specific, and regulatory quality requirements as applicable. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques. Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Basic computer skills and experience entering inspection data. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
