Job Description Develop new and modify existing CMM and gauge inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings. Validate inspection programs by identifying and resolving navigational and computational issues while conducting measurement system analysis studies. Perform dimensional inspections and verification activities on complex machined components using a variety of metrology equipment. Analyze inspection results, create reports, and support process improvements through SPC and quality data analysis. Build, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain CMM stylus systems, fixtures, and related inspection equipment. Generate and maintain inspection documentation, correlation studies, and measurement system reports. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support troubleshooting and process optimization initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement programs and maintain compliance with quality system standards and procedures. The Successful Applicant High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineering discipline preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience programming CMM equipment utilizing automated inspection software. Strong understanding of GD&T and
ASME Y14.5
standards. Experience with CMM software such as Calypso, PC-DMIS, Modus, ATOS, or comparable platforms. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and inspection requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related technical software tools. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Experience supporting manufacturing environments and continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred.
