Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality checks, performing inspections, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations AS9100
D:
ISO 9001.
We have each machinist turn in their parts for a FAI for approval prior to running the parts. Each inspector will have to check the part to the print and record all dimensions using either a CMM, open set up or other various inspection methods . We mainly use PC-DMIS for our CMM and have a Keyence handheld CMM along with other inspection tools. Responsibilities generate a FAI pick an appropriate tool to inspect a wide variety of features pass or reject first articles use standard work holding practices to achieve satisfactory and consistent results check parts through various methods tag nonconforming parts calibrate inspection equipment keeping and maintaining a clean working environment Qualifications Proven experience in quality control in a prototype machining field, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles. Knowledge of industry standards including AS9100

is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and recommendations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of GD&T is a must Ability to program, set up and run a CMM is a huge plus The understanding of different inspection equipment and their uses Attention to detail Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector and contribute to maintaining the high standards that define our products. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality assurance practices.
