Onsite Overview Quality Inspectors in the final assembly area are responsible for performing visual and functional inspections in the production line, truck shop, and electrical workshop both internally and with the client. This includes creating inspection reports and filing documentation properly on the Quality SharePoint. Additionally, this person will be required to verify modifications, create non-conformance reports (NCRs), and audit documentation such as control sheets, test reports, or serial number lists. Responsibilities Conduct visual and functional inspections in the final assembly area, production line, truck shop, and electrical workshop, both internally and with the client. Create inspection reports and file documentation properly on the Quality SharePoint. Verify modifications, create non-conformance reports (NCRs), and audit documentation such as control sheets, test reports, or serial number lists. Maintain a positive attitude, work collaboratively with other departments, and prioritize growth and understanding. Conduct daily inspections as scheduled, completing inspection reports using CHELI, DABI, or other systems as required. Generate Material Quality Reports (MQRs) for supplier-related issues and coordinate with SQA. Use drawings, inspection criteria, and engineering instructions to ensure assemblies meet design requirements and customer expectations. Identify causes of recurring or significant defects and communicate feedback to manufacturing and management. Assist production engineering in root cause analysis by performing additional inspections/measurements on non-conforming material. Prepare Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) in Baan for material issues found in production, ensuring proper tagging and containment. Participate in the material review board (MRB) as required. Prepare reports and documentation such as quality alerts and corrective actions. Complete fleet-wide inspections for internal and supplier issues (FMIs). Assist in process improvement within QA and other departments. Title and file all documentation correctly in SharePoint, local drives, Teams, etc. Make corrections to documentation as requested by management. Additional responsibilities may be added or amended at any time to reflect changing business conditions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalency; a two-year technical degree is a plus. 3+ years of experience in production or quality control preferred. Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential. Knowledge of
ISO-9001
is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a start-up, high-pressure environment. Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of oral and written Spanish highly desirable. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
