SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to analyze all materials/products throughout our facility ensuring accuracy and conformity to company documented requirements.

Inspection activity Corrective action follow-up First article documentation Utilize knowledge in inspection techniques including calipers, CMM, and micrometers

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have strong blueprint reading skills, basic inspection skills, ability to pay attention to detail, good shop math and reading comprehension skills, quality conscious, and a self-starter. The right candidate will be productive and respected by all levels of co-workers. They must be able to successfully work independently and also as a team member. Must be able to take direction. A good attendance history (reliability) and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and skills are a must.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience.
