No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Perform detailed visual inspections of manufactured products and components.
Inspect small parts and components using microscopes and other visual inspection equipment.
Use small hand tools and precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and specifications.
Identify defects, imperfections, cosmetic issues, dimensional discrepancies, or other quality concerns.
Compare finished products against established quality standards, specifications, drawings, samples, and work instructions.
Inspect parts for proper appearance, workmanship, cleanliness, and overall quality.
Accurately measure and document inspection results.
Separate and document non-conforming or defective products.
Complete inspection records and other required quality documentation accurately.
Communicate quality issues to supervisors and appropriate production personnel.
Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and company quality requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection/work area.
Perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist with other quality-related duties as needed.
