Job Description

Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an overnight quality technician position at a manufacturing company in Walden NY. Day and overnight shifts are available. This is a temp-to-hire position. The hours are 9 p.m.-5 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for quality, food packaging safety and other requirements Follow all safety policies and procedures Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material Maintain other sample requirements as defined Maintain strict confidentiality and protect privacy of confidential/sensitive information All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience Working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams and Outlook Prior quality experience utilizing testing equipment strongly preferred Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines Able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and well-organized Able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options Comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site Able to pass pre-employment screenings
