Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving/Shipping Material Handler to join our dynamic team.
Receiving/Shipping Material Handler Job Description:
Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. The Receiving/Shipping Material Handler Position is full-time and is based in Waterloo, NY. This position will unload trucks and feed material to production workers utilizing an overhead crane, forklift and side loader. They will also be responsible for efficiently maintaining inventory accuracy using a handheld scanner. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stocks recording location of inventory using a scanner.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
Loading/Unloading:
Operates forklifts safely. Rigging the materials/bundles safely and using a bridge crane to move frames to an appropriate area to complete banding procedures. Loading - Using a forklift, safely load finished goods on to trucks for delivery to customers jobsite making sure that no damage to finished goods occur during the loading process. Unloading - Using a forklift, safely unload material and/or supplies and move to the appropriate place in the shop or yard.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 2-3 years' experience with an Overhead Crane and Forklift.
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs. and work in hot/cold environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and inventory management skills.
  • Safety consciousness and ability to use a scanner.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
