Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections and measurements throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations, uphold safety standards, and guarantee that our products consistently exceed customer expectations. Perform associated task involved in the maintenance of an
ISO 9001
Quality Management System and customer requirements. Duties Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify product conformity. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize data collection tools and analysis skills to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement. Execute calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy and reliability. Support manufacturing teams by providing feedback on quality issues, assisting in troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to quality management systems. Document inspection results accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to relevant departments. Job Responsibilities Must be able to read a tape measure and calipers is a plus. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across teams. Ability to understand engineering drawings to operate the Fare Arm with a certain degree of proficiency. Calibrate and coordinate calibration of all measurement and test equipment as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager. Assist the Quality Assurance Technician with statistical analysis of equipment and inspection equipment. Assist with layouts on all 1st Article, ISIR, PPAP's and Customer Samples. Perform product dock audits, receiving inspection and in process inspection as required. Initiate and maintain all associated quality paperwork. Assist production operators with inspection and equipment issues. Make Quality Assurance Manager and/or Plant Manager aware of safety issues and concerns. Provide liaison for Productions and Engineering on routers and program issues. Perform general housekeeping duties as directed. Make Quality Assurance Manager aware of any non-conformance in product. Perform other duties as directed by Quality Assurance Manager. Job Comprehension Requirements Must be able to Read, write and comprehend job duties. Must be able to perform job duties while being safety oriented. Communicate well to Plant Manager, quality, supervisors and employees. Must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures and carry out the process with all the employees. Must work side by side with Employees daily if needed. Must be able to do audits Must be professional Must be able to hold meetings as necessary. Must be able to follow company policies and procedures daily. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
