$36.00-$42.00 per hour We are hiring an experienced CMM Programmer to support precision inspection and quality assurance operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines to inspect complex machined components, complete First Article Inspections, document nonconforming material, and help resolve manufacturing quality concerns. The ideal candidate has at least three years of PC-DMIS programming experience and a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, precision measurement equipment, and aerospace quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position paying $36.00-$42.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to inspect precision-machined aerospace components Review CMM results and determine whether parts meet engineering, customer, and quality requirements Complete First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 and applicable customer requirements Initiate and maintain non-conformance documentation for parts that do not meet specifications Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to investigate nonconforming material Help determine appropriate rework, reinspection, and corrective-action requirements Identify root causes of inspection errors, dimensional trends, and manufacturing concerns Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, planning documents, specifications, and quality standards Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Recommend improvements that increase inspection accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability Support the continued development and maintenance of quality procedures, policies, and work processes Provide quality or manufacturing process training when needed Maintain complete and accurate inspection records Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications At least three years of hands-on CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS Five or more years of experience in machining, CMM programming, dimensional inspection, quality assurance, or a closely related technical field Two or more years of quality assurance or inspection experience Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Experience completing dimensional inspections of close-tolerance machined components Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauges, and similar precision measuring equipment Ability to understand and apply fractions, decimals, tolerances, and advanced shop mathematics Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause-analysis skills Ability to communicate professionally with quality, engineering, production, customer, and supplier personnel Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel High school diploma or GED Ability to work on-site with regular and reliable attendance Preferred Qualifications Aerospace manufacturing or aerospace quality inspection experience Experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspections Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems Familiarity with FAA, customer, regulatory, and industry quality requirements Experience with Statistical Process Control, Statistical Quality Control, or similar quality tools Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience Experience working with ERP or manufacturing management systems Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience ITAR Requirement This position involves work subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
