Ascentec is hiring! Do you have strong attention to detail skills? We are looking for Quality Inspectors to join our team! This critical position within the company presents a great opportunity for someone to provide final assurance to all our valued customers that their products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. Please note that preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a manufacturing setting, but this is not required. We are hiring for the day shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
Requirements:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To include but not limited to the following: Receiving, In-process and Final inspections Primary operator for the dedicated metrology equipment - Optical comparator etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
: Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc. Visual Product Inspections - Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material parts Experience with operating manual and/or automated CMM a plus Generate Clear and concise Non-conformance Reports Ability to work overtime Preference will be given to candidates with prior machinist experience

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
: $16 to $21 per hour DOE 401k with company match up to 4% Tiered Quarterly Bonus Program Short-term and Long-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement Life Insurance Paid time off / paid holidays Employee Assistance Programs Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
