Friday SUMMARY :
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for daily support for production. Performs incoming inspection on jobs as required to insure product quality and conformity to customer's specifications. Complies, inputs and files quality data records Communicate scrap to department team leaders/production manager to provide "real time" feedback Obtain and maintain inspection proficiencies Basic computer skills a must. Ability to read and interpret blue prints Work safely to assure a safe and healthy work environment Ability to understand and communicate in English safety instructions, company polices and operational instructions Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation Respectfully takes direction from Supervisor. Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure. Mathematical skills needed. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides. Requires good eyesight (for close vision and fine details) and be able to distinguish colors. Must have a High School diploma or GED Minimum.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to walk, sit, and talk or hear, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Pre-employment drug screen, background check, reference check upon offer.
