This position performs and documents all quality checks that vary across the product line. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Percentage based inspection on all production runs of component parts Percentage based inspection on all material received into the facility 100% inspection on all finished products to specific customers Report any variances outside of tolerance limits for review Maintain documentation of production batches for future reference if required Identify and communicate any systemic issues, or root causes to any failures Complete documentation for internal inspections, and paperwork for specific customers as directed. Assist in other areas of the shop as directed by the VP of Manufacturing. Skills Ability to read engineering drawings Ability to use various measuring devices Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) Ability to calculate and establish new tolerance limits on new product offerings Attributes Strong attention to detail Ability to understand the function of products being inspected Patience when completing repetitive tasks Strong organizational skills Can work independently Experience & Education 2 year degree or greater preferred. 5 years or greater work experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. MeasurLink experience preferred Physical Requirements Physically submit to periodic drug, background and clearance screenings (employment is contingent upon favorable results) Can lift boxes up to 40 pounds periodically Vision is clear enough to identify small visual flaws.
