Responsibilities:
??? Perform routine and final inspections of pre-fabricated parts and assemblies, fabricated weldments, machined components, and coating processes. ... ??? Inspect products using customer drawings, specifications, and established company quality standards. ??? Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other common inspection and precision measurement tools used in the steel fabrication and manufacturing industry. ??? Read and interpret fabrication and machining drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and dimensional requirements. ??? Inspect finished and in-process work to identify dimensional, fabrication, welding, machining, and coating issues. ??? Verify that products conform to specified dimensions, tolerances, and customer requirements. ??? Identify and communicate quality issues promptly to the appropriate personnel. ??? Work closely with production, welding, machining, and management teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurring issues. ??? Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. ??? Assist with quality-related activities and continuous improvement initiatives. ??? Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and keeping the primary objective in focus. ??? Perform additional quality-related tasks in support of company goals and objectives as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication and machining drawings.
Solid understanding of welding symbols and their application to weldments and fabricated components.
Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), including the ability to interpret symbols, definitions, and applications on customer drawings and blueprints.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
