Springville, UT Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $45,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Quality records maintenance Customer returns handling Implementing manufacturing quality control protocols Bachelor's degree Quality assurance standard operating procedures Quality improvement Regulatory/legal compliance standards in production FDA regulations Customer complaint resolution Full Job Description Growing Medical Device Company is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Assistant to ensure compliance readiness and standardize policies and procedures for all of manufacturing, to meet FDA and State regulatory and accrediting agencies' requirements and to improve quality and cost effectiveness. Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Responsible for conformance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 2. Writes Change Requests as applicable. 3. Performs quality checks and ensures quality control throughout the manufacturing process for all product lines. 4. Performs Label Control functions for the organization 5. Performs documentation review and release of product to Finished Goods. 6. Assists in the management of complaints. 7. Assists in the management of Returned Goods (RGAs). 8. Assists in the management of Corrective Action and Preventive Actions. 9. Assists in the management of Equipment preventive maintenance/calibrations. 10. Oversees the organization's standard operating procedures as well as all departmental procedures 11. Assists in the maintenance of the Vendor Qualification program. 12. Documents Nonconforming Materials as applicable. 13. Maintains the Design History Files and Device Master Records 14. Assists in the maintenance of the organization's training records. 15. Conducts training/refresher courses as identified. 16. Assists with regulatory audits / inspections.
Experience:
2+ years Quality experience. Science based education or experience highly preferred. Works effectively in a team environment. Customer service oriented. Proficient written and verbal communications. Ability to multi-task.
