Summary The Sewing Machine Operator will add value to Superior Recreational Products by maximizing the quality, efficiency, and fulfillment of our products and sewing services. This position has no supervisory duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines using multiple types of fabrics and threads Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output while following quality guidelines Ensure integrity and quality of product in accordance with quality standards Inspect and repair finished products as needed and adjust the machine as needed to prevent quality issues Perform housekeeping tasks required to maintain a clean and orderly workspace Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned

Guide fabric or parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together Inspect products and examine products to locate defects or damage, and mark errors ferred

Qualifications:

The position requires walking and standing for prolonged periods. This position regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
