Job description: Cornerstone Staffing Solutions, Inc. is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to work on 1nd shift for our manufacturing client in Fenton, MI. This position will work 4:30 PM

• 3:00 AM, Monday
• Thursday, and pay $17.50
• 19.

50/hour. Overtime and weekends may be required, as needed.

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Read and understand product requirements to produce quality parts through work orders, work instructions, and blue prints
• Utilize proper housekeeping procedures; keep department clean and organized at all times
• Follow safe work practices (safety glasses, protective shoes, etc.)
• Accurate use of measuring devices
• Communicate improvement ideas and suggestions to team leaders or management regarding process, procedures, materials, environment, etc.
• Follow directions given
• Properly use materials to maximize production
• Utilize good communication verbally and in writing to communicate with co-workers and management

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Quality Management Expectations:

• Utilize and comply with the Quality Management System
• Self inspect parts to ensure quality requirements and specs are met
• Ensure quality at the source by noticing and reporting defects in products or documentation, whether done by the operator or someone else

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to self-motivate
• Proven excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented to ensure quality at the source
• General computer skills or ability to learn
