We are seeking a manual industrial sewer to join our production team that is responsible for overall appearance and assembly to produce fall protection equipment, while maintaining a high level of quality standards based on product specifications and achieving production goals.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES

Read and comprehend workmanship standards, verbal instructions. Assemble components and products according to standard operating procedures and work instructions. Operate heavy duty 3 pedal single needle sewing machine for the purpose of producing products with accuracy and speed. Place spools of thread, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components. Perform equipment maintenance tasks such as replacing needles and cleaning sewing machine. Able to use reason to solve problems as they arise and follow all safety guidelines. Maintain a clean, neat work area.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

High School diploma or GED equivalent. At least 2 years of experience operating a Juki single needle sewing machine, experience with Singer Class 7 Industrial Sewing machine a plus. Must be able to read a tape measure for accuracy. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components. Highly ethical, positive cultural addition, self-motivated.
