Job Description Sewer Schedule:

4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Monday to Friday - OT may be required

Essential Functions Machines:

Prepare and maintain sewing machines by changing needles and thread, oiling, replacing bobbins, and securing attachments.
Operate industrial sewing machines to join materials such as polyester, cotton, and lyocell.
Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues to supervisors.
Must demonstrate full understanding of Operator and Machinist responsibilities, including machine setup, monitoring, and minor repairs.

Process:

Follow established production procedures and schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest ideas for efficiency.

Materials:

Guide materials under the machine needle to ensure proper stitching.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Escalate concerns related to material or product quality.

Quality:

Take ownership of product quality throughout the sewing process.
Meet or exceed monthly productivity goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial sewing environment.
Must have prior knowledge and experience in Production Associate 1 and 2 duties.
Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more without assistance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow instructions consistently and work independently.
Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, or stand for extended periods.
Proficient in reading and speaking English.
Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing products, equipment, and processes.
