Job Description Sewer Schedule:
4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Monday to Friday - OT may be required
Essential Functions Machines:
  • Prepare and maintain sewing machines by changing needles and thread, oiling, replacing bobbins, and securing attachments.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to join materials such as polyester, cotton, and lyocell.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Must demonstrate full understanding of Operator and Machinist responsibilities, including machine setup, monitoring, and minor repairs.
Process:
  • Follow established production procedures and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest ideas for efficiency.
Materials:
  • Guide materials under the machine needle to ensure proper stitching.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality meets specifications.
  • Escalate concerns related to material or product quality.
Quality:
  • Take ownership of product quality throughout the sewing process.
  • Meet or exceed monthly productivity goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial sewing environment.
  • Must have prior knowledge and experience in Production Associate 1 and 2 duties.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more without assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions consistently and work independently.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, or stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in reading and speaking English.
  • Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing products, equipment, and processes.
