Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing, assembling, altering, and repairing garments, fabric products, and other textile items according to specifications. The position requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to operate sewing machines safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate sewing machines to stitch, assemble, and finish fabric products. Sew garments, uniforms, upholstery, or other textile materials. Read and follow patterns, measurements, and work instructions. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Repair seams, replace zippers, and make alterations as needed. Cut, measure, and prepare fabric for sewing. Maintain sewing machines and keep the work area clean and organized. Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow workplace safety procedures.
