Industrial Sewing Machine Operator:

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

Run industrial sewing machines to stitch leather boots based on work orders.

Material Handling:

Align, guide, and feed leather boots and outsoles under the needle with high precision.

Quality Inspection:

Check finished components for uneven seams, skipped stitches, thread breaks, or material flaws.

Maintenance & Setup:

Change bobbins, needles, and awls, thread machines, adjust tension, and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting.

Quota Tracking:

Meet daily production targets while maintaining logs, labels, or shift records.(After probationary period) Sit/Stand for 10 hour days and be able to lift 50lbs

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Prior experience operating industrial or commercial sewing equipment is typically preferred.

Skills:

Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to read work orders.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift or move materials ranging from 15 to 45 pounds. Good communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced team enviornment

Job Type:

Full-time Starting Pay:
