10/20/2026 Job Description Job Description Position Summary Do you know how to sew and want to turn that skill into a stable production job? World Class Industrial Supply is hiring a Sewing Machine Operator in Granbury. Industrial sewing experience is helpful, but not required-we will train someone who already has basic sewing skills. Monday-Friday Hours are flexible between 8:00am - 5:00pm, schedule TBD. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture and assemble products according to specifications. Sew a variety of materials and components while maintaining consistent stitch quality and appearance. Follow work instructions, patterns, samples, and production specifications. Measure, position, and align materials before sewing. Inspect completed work for proper stitching, dimensions, workmanship, and overall quality. Make minor sewing machine adjustments such as thread tension, bobbin replacement, and needle changes. Identify sewing defects or equipment issues and communicate problems to the appropriate supervisor. Trim threads and perform basic finishing work on completed products. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Meet reasonable production and quality expectations. Assist with other light manufacturing or production tasks as needed. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Previous sewing experience required ; home, commercial, upholstery, apparel, or industrial sewing experience will be considered. Experience using an industrial sewing machine is preferred. Ability to produce straight, consistent, and repeatable stitching. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn new sewing equipment, patterns, and manufacturing processes. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently once trained. Strong focus on quality and consistency. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required: Industrial or commercial sewing machines Pattern sewing machines Heavy-duty fabrics or industrial textiles Webbing, canvas, nylon, leather, or similar materials Manufacturing or production environments Quality inspection of sewn products Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand at a sewing workstation for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and fingers for sewing, positioning materials, and handling components. Ability to safely lift and move materials commonly used in the production area. Ability to visually inspect stitching and finished products for quality.
