Connect Staffing is hiring a Tuflex Operator for an industrial lifting sling manufacturer in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $17.25-$18.25/hr. In this role, you will set up and operate industrial sewing machines to produce Tuflex round slings according to manufacturing specifications and quality standards. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer of industrial rigging products.

Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate industrial sewing machines to produce Tuflex round slings to spec. Select appropriate raw materials, hardware, tools, tags, and equipment for each production run. Read and interpret production sheets, manufacturing manuals, and related documents. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, operational issues, or material deficiencies. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machines and equipment and report maintenance needs. Move and handle materials throughout the production area as required. Minimum Requirements 1+ year of experience operating sewing machines or production equipment in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in lifting sling, rigging, webbing, or textile manufacturing. Familiarity with industrial sewing machine setup and adjustment. Experience selecting raw materials or components from manufacturing specs. Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance on production equipment. Experience tracking inventory or completing production reports and forms. Ability to read and follow production sheets, work instructions, and manufacturing manuals.
