Job details Summary Spherion $13.00 per hour Temp to Perm 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_179905 Job details We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The Sewing Machine Operator supports Manufacturing by operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture quality products, including canvas and nylon bags.
Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines of the following types: single-needle, double-needle, ... serger/overlock, and bartacker. Cut webbing and cord from rolls using automatic cutting machines. Operate hole-punch press and snap attachment machines. Apply prints to products using silk screening equipment. Trim, assemble, fold, and package products. Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications. Work effectively with team members to meet production goals. Learn and perform additional sewing tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Report on equipment problems or product quality concerns. Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Manager, including non-sewing tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
