Position Title:
Tool Setter Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Lay out tools for all manual, CNC, or EDM machines to perform completely and independently specific operations as outlined in the methods and process sheets. Changes, sets, and adjusts precision tools as required. Loads and deletes programs in the computer. Makes minor adjustments of feeds and speeds on the assigned machine. Learn the machinability of metals. Grinds own cutting tools and drills (other than special purpose tools). Maintains specific tolerances and accurately performs dimensions. Checks parts using specified gages or furnished fixtures to ensure dimensions are maintained. Performs routine maintenance checks and reports improper machine function. Communication of damaged tools to machinist for review. Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions. Assists with related training of other employees as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
