Difference:
Are you an experienced Mold Maker, Tool & Die Maker, Toolmaker, or Precision Machinist looking for an opportunity to work on highly advanced tooling projects? Join a growing precision manufacturing organization where you'll build new injection molds used to produce critical components for medical devices and other high-precision applications. This is an opportunity to take ownership of mold builds from start to finish while working in a clean, climate-controlled tool room with industry-leading equipment and technology.
What You'll Do:
Build new precision steel injection molds from engineering drawings and CAD files Machine mold components using CNC mills, EDM sinkers, EDM hole burners, lathes, grinders, and other tool room equipment Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models Inspect components using precision measuring equipment and microscopes Troubleshoot tooling issues during the mold build process Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule Support new tooling projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
2+ years of mold making, tool & die, tooling, or precision machining experience preferred Experience building molds, tooling, or precision components Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files Experience with CNC machining and EDM equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Commitment to producing high-quality work with tight tolerances Tool & Die education or apprenticeship experience is a plus
