Toolmaker - 2nd shift (Cedar Rapids) Local Tool & Die job shop is looking for a qualified Toolmaker to join our team. (4) ten hours shifts Monday through Thursday. Optional overtime available Friday and Saturday as workload allows. Candidates should have schooling and or experience as a Tool and Die Maker. We need people who can solve problems and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines daily. We build one-of-a-kind metal stamping tools to meet the production needs of our customers. The work being done is rarely the same day-to-day.

Preferred candidates would:

• Be ambitious, with a strong drive to learn and work
• Have experience in Hurco or any conversational type programming
• Have experience in or with Master-Cam or any programming software - preferred but not required
• Be well versed in reading and understanding blueprints
• Be able to read bore gages, calipers, etc.

Candidates will need to supply their own basic machinist hand and measuring tools.
