We are looking for a OD Grinder (CNC/Manual) for our 2nd shift which is 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Will be responsible for producing parts from our manufacturing prints, setting-up the machine and producing the actual parts. Follow detailed blueprints, customer specifications, internal work instructions, and engineering direction both written and verbal. Setup and operation of OD grinders, Centerless grinders and other related grinding equipment to manufacture a variety of machine parts. Inspect and document your work using precision measuring equipment and associated gauges and tooling. Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus trade school training. 5+ year of OD grinding and/or manual OD grinding experience. Experience with CNC is a plus. Must be able to apply practical shop math involving fractions, ratios, and proportions, geometric construction, and essentials of trigonometry. Primarily medium to heavy physical work - while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; is frequently required to reach with hands and arms above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Occasionally lift and/or move, exerting up to 100 pounds of force; frequently lift and/or move, exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
