Tooling Technician Posted on February 10, 2026 February 10, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of production tooling and equipment. This role focuses on ensuring tools and machinery operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with production requirements. Position Responsibilities Tool Setup & Maintenance Install, adjust, and maintain production tooling to ensure proper operation. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues to minimize downtime. Process Support & Optimization Assist engineering and production teams in optimizing tooling for efficiency and quality. Implement process improvements and document best practices. Ensure tooling meets quality and safety standards. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance, adjustments, and modifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Support audits and inspections as required. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to meet operational goals. Provide technical support and training to operators and staff on tooling use and maintenance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Prerequisites High School diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. Proven experience in tooling setup, maintenance, and support. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Tooling or mechanical maintenance certifications Safety training certifications (OSHA or equivalent) Lean or continuous improvement training What the Role Offers Competitive salary up to $72,800.
