Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Thermoforming Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting thermoforming equipment and related tooling. Establish and maintain stable process conditions for heating, forming, cooling, trimming, stacking, and material handling while meeting safety, quality, productivity, scrap, and customer-service requirements. Perform tooling changes, document validated machine settings, identify process variation, and make controlled adjustments to restore product conformance. Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to develop and improve operating methods, work instructions, preventive maintenance activities, and continuous improvement actions. Perform maintenance mechanic duties when directed or when operating conditions require immediate technical support. Duties

• Assist in tooling assembly, disassembly and maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Remove and install form tool, trim tool, stacker and EOAT from machine.
• Set rail positions, trim positions, stacker positions and robot positions.
• Troubleshoot process issues with minimal to no assistance.
• Document process setting and process improvements.
• Perform full tool change from good part to good part.
• These are the base skills possessed by all Process Techs. Requirements High School diploma or GED required
• Technical schooling a plus Electrical and/or electronic diagnostic abilities a plus 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food and beverage packaging industry.

1-3 years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and worked on machines and/or tooling Ability to use computers. Must be able to communicate using email. Must be able to use computer applications including Word, Excel, and Computerize Maintenance software. Experience in Continuous Improvement programs.

• Thermoforming experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with associates at all levels of the organization.
• Detailed problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Good written and verbal communications.
• Strong Technical and Mechanical skills.
• Ability to safely drive stand up and sit-down fork trucks
• Basic proficiency in English including the ability to understand and execute instructions on the manufacturing floor.

Pay:

$31.00 - $41.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
