Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Heat Shrinking/Grinder operator and become a vital part of our production process! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for preparing, trimming, and finishing components using heat shrinking techniques and grinding equipment. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient workflow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in precision machining, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes within a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate heat shrinking machines to properly treat components, ensuring correct temperature settings and timing for optimal results Use grinding tools and equipment to trim, smooth, and finish parts according to technical specifications Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately perform machining tasks Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify part accuracy Troubleshoot industrial equipment such as CNC machines, CAM programming setups, and press brake machines to resolve operational issues Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse tools, adhering strictly to safety standards in production Maintain detailed records of work performed, including quality checks and machine maintenance logs Skills Proficient in operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming software such as CAM programming tools Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of manufacturing drawings Experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory equipment maintenance Knowledge of fabrication techniques, tooling setup, and materials handling procedures Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers Ability to interpret production documents accurately and perform shop math calculations efficiently Skilled in using hand tools, packaging methods, and assembly techniques in a manufacturing setting Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus for understanding technical designs Join us in delivering high-quality products through your expertise in heat shrinking and grinding!
