$35/hr. Job Overview Seeking experienced Aircraft Composite Technicians to support the fabrication, assembly, fitting, and bonding of aircraft composite, laminate, and metal components. Responsibilities Lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond composite, laminate, and metal parts and assemblies. Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications. Cut, sand, deburr, smooth, and prepare materials for bonding. Operate autoclaves, hydraulic presses, ovens, and related equipment. Apply sealing resins and perform composite repairs/rework as required. Use optical and hard lay-up tools for composite and metal fabrication. Read and interpret drawings, charts, sketches, work orders, and technical documentation. Use precision measuring instruments and basic shop mathematics. Verify work meets quality and engineering specifications. Maintain tools/equipment and perform routine minor machine maintenance. Safely handle solvents and cleaning solutions. Move materials/products within the manufacturing area as needed. Support production flow and assist/train other team members. Follow safety, quality, FOD, OSHA, and confidentiality requirements. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of aviation production or equivalent experience . Hands-on experience with composite lay-up, fabrication, assembly, pre-fitting, and bonding. 5+ years of aviation production experience preferred. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Ability to read technical documentation and use basic hand/shop tools. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Basic computer skills; SAP and Excel experience preferred . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as needed . Composite fabrication/lay-up training from a vocational school or previous employer is a plus.
Training:
Required job-specific safety, quality, and aircraft familiarization training will be provided.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
