About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of high-precision components, leveraging your expertise in machine setup and process optimization to deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operate vertical machining centers to produce custom parts with high dimensional accuracy. Interpret intricate technical drawings and CAD/CAM data to ensure precise execution of machining sequences. Perform proactive machine adjustments, including offset modifications and G-code edits, to maintain optimal production efficiency. Select and manage appropriate tooling configurations to meet specific material and tolerance requirements. Conduct rigorous quality inspections to ensure all components adhere to strict engineering standards. Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to tooling, machine performance, or programming to minimize downtime. Maintain a high standard of shop floor organization and safety to support a productive workflow. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC milling and machine setup. Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles. Deep understanding of G-code, machine offsets, and troubleshooting methodologies. Proven ability to work autonomously in a high-mix, low-volume job shop environment. Preferred Skills Direct experience operating Haas VMC equipment. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as Autodesk Fusion 360. Prior experience in a lead or mentoring capacity within a machine shop. Strong background in manual machining techniques to supplement CNC operations.
