Job Description

Tool and Die Maker - Automotive Stamping Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a focus on automotive stamping. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in troubleshooting, stamping operations, and a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Tool and Die Maker Job Summary:

$36.50 /hourly + (DOE), $1.00 shift premium 2nd Shift 3:15pm-11:45pm

Full Time/Direct Hire Benefits:

Paid vacation, paid holidays, Full Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and life insurance Maintain and repair tooling and dies used in automotive stamping operations. Building or repairing all types, sizes and shapes of tools, dies, fixtures and jigs. Assemble and try out complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment as required for production. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with stamping equipment and processes. Perform preventive maintenance on dies and stamping equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance and repair activities.

Tool and Die Maker Job Qualifications:

High school Diploma or General Education (GED) Completion of formal apprenticeship program with journeyman card or equivalent to 8 years' experience Experience with stamping equipment and processes in an automotive manufacturing environment. Excellent problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys Experience with tear down, repairs, and reassembling tooling. Troubleshooting Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
